LEX HT® Windows offer excellent Light Element X-ray transmission. LEX-HT® windows are used for proportional counter, EDS, XRF, and other instrument window applications. Vacuum-tight pressure differentials of 1 atm can be maintained for areas of up to 6 cm2. Windows are available in large quantities, or in custom configurations. LEX-HT® windows can be cycled more than 1,000 times, and the windows allow overpressures to 1.5 atm. They are capable of withstanding elevated temperatures to 100 °C. Frames and snouts can be either supplied either by the customer or by Luxel.
